In “Free Speech” on Nov. 19, I read a comment by someone responding to my letter to the editor about the median on Ga. Highway 74 preventing a left turn into the Post Office or Waffle House. This person referred to me as an “idiot.”

I think you are a coward for not signing your name to a letter to the editor in response to my article.

Your feeble attempt to justify this median is lame.

First of all, why widen Hwy. 74 to four or six lanes and not allow left turns into businesses? Is this the government’s way of protecting us from ourselves? Frankly, I’ve just about had enough of this nonsense.

Years ago, before this “coward” ever moved to Peachtree City, there was a similar median preventing turns into what is now the Dairy Queen going east on 54. The business that was located there failed, as it was nearly impossible to get there. Now it has been changed, and people can turn left once again.

I’ll tell you what, if you want to meet me in the parking lot of Waffle House just about any morning, I will be there and you can tell all of us that frequent this business that we are just a bunch of “idiots.”
