Mr. and Mrs. Don Karwisch of Fayetteville announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Amanda Leigh, to 2nd Lt. Jay Bryant Page, son of Mrs. Julie Francissen of Fayetteville and John Page of Columbia, S.C.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Fayette County High School and will graduate as a doctor of pharmacy in May of 2009 from Mercer University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

The groom-elect is also a graduate of Fayette County High School and a 2008 graduate of the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo., where he received a bachelor of science degree. He will begin undergraduate pilot training in February at Laughlin Air Force Base.

The wedding will be Dec. 27, 2008, at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church. After the wedding the couple will reside at Laughlin Air Force Base in Del Rio, Texas.
