Fayetteville First UMC to host interfaith service

A key local alliance of Jews, Christians and Muslims will gather Sunday, Nov. 23, at 4 p.m. at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church, to share their traditions of giving thanks.

The event is sponsored by members of the Fayette Interfaith Network (FIN). A reception will follow the service.

FIN is made up of Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, Congregation B’nai Israel, Fayetteville First United Methodist Church, Islamic Speakers Bureau (ISB), Muslim Community Center of Atlanta, and The Episcopal Church of the Nativity.

Attendees are encouraged to donate canned goods and non-perishable items, which will be collected by the Fayette Samaritans Food Bank.
