Operation Christmas Child musical planned
The Peachtree City First Baptist Church Kingdom Kidz Choir will perform the Operation Christmas Child Musical on Wednesday, Nov. 19, at 6:30 p.m. Each year, church members fill Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes and give them to children. PTCUMC plans Thanksgiving dinner
The Peachtree City United Methodist Church will serve Thanksgiving Dinner on Wednesday, Nov. 19, at 5 and 6:30 p.m.. The menu includes turkey and dressing casserole, cranberry orange relish, mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, rolls and pumpkin pie. Reservations are required and can be made by calling the church, 770-487-6499. The cost of the dinner is $7.50 for adults, $3 for children (2-10) with a maximum of $20 per family.

Mt. Olive celebrates 142nd anniversary
Mt. Olive Baptist Church will observe its 142nd Church Anniversary Sunday, Nov. 23, at 2:30 p.m. Pastor Henry Carnegie and the Mt. ‘Friday Freedom’ set for this Friday in PTC

St. Mary’s will have Thanksgiving Mass
Saint Mary Magdalene Catholic church in Coweta County will have a special Mass at 10 a.m on Thanksgiving Day. Those attending are asked to bring something from their dinner menu (bread, wine, crackers, etc.) that will be blessed and taken back home to their family table. Food also will be collected for the St. Vincent de Paul Society. The church is behind the new library near the intersection of Ga. Hwy. 154 and Lower Fayetteville Road.

Drive-thru Nativity planned for Dec. 12 & 13
The Fayetteville First Baptist Church will have a free Drive-thru Nativity Friday and Saturday, Dec. 12 and 13, from 7 - 9 p.m. Families may drive their vehicles through a canopy of lights with rows of luminaries showing angels, shepherds, a manger scene, live music and a wise men’s camp. Each vehicle will receive a CD with music and narration to follow the tour. The entrance will be from Stonewall Avenue.
