Rebecca Pitts of Peachtree City and Adam Roper of Ellaville were married Nov. 8, 2008 at Drake Field in Peachtree City. The Rev. Derek Porter of Brooks United Methodist Church officiated. A reception followed at The Tyrone Depot.

The bride is the daughter of Gary and Debbie Pitts of Peachtree City. The groom is the son of Willard and Mary Ann Roper of Ellaville.

The bride wore an ivory gown with beaded cut out flowers designed by Watters. Her attendants were Jessi Pitts, Casi Pitts, Jenny Carlton, MichaelAnne Thompson, Katelyn Bender, Jaylyn Carver, Hilary Mercer and Lindsay Boone.

Groomsmen and groomswoman were Joey Robinson, Cliff Addison, Alan Preston, Claire Harshbarger, Bill Moran, Mark Culpepper, John Burdett and Chad Harris.

The bride’s brother, Wes Pitts, escorted the bride’s grandmothers to their seats.

The flowergirl was the bride’s niece, McKenzie Pitts.

The couple honeymooned in Cocoa Beach, Fla., and will reside in Newnan.
