Newnan Police have issued an alert for 15 year-old Elizabeth Marie Campbell, who left her home Thursday. Her parents found an instant message on her computer indicating she was running away. Elizabeth is caucasian, 5’7” and weighs 110 pounds, with red hair and blue eyes. She was wearing faded blue jeans, a black short sleeve shirt, tan tennis shoes and carrying a dark blue back pack. The computer message indicated Elizabeth may be trying to hitch a ride to Walland, Tennessee or Maryville, Tennessee to meet a 17 year-old male, according to Newnan Public Information Officer Gina Snider. Elizabeth said in the message she was going to try to hitch a ride at the local Wal-mart. She was last seen at 5:03 p.m. on a Wal-mart video crossing the store’s side entrance and heading toward I-85, Snider said. Anyone with information is asked to contact Newnan Police at (770) 254-2355. login to post comments |
