Crossroads Chiropractic is joining forces with Soldiers of the Cross, Inc. this winter to gather new or gently worn coats, scarfs, mittens, hats, and blankets for the homeless and under housed in the downtown Atlanta area. For the last eight years Soldiers of the Cross (thanks to the generosity of local churches and individuals) have been able to bless many, many people that truly need these items. The distribution is always the Saturday after Thanksgiving. They usually are accompanied by 10 -15 people to assist in the effort.

Dr Matthew Davis of Crossroads Chiropractic is very excited to be able to help.

“One way of saying thanks to our community for supporting our office is by giving back, Davis said. “We have decided to give away the initial visit in our office including consultation, x-rays, computerized nerve scan, and private report of findings in trade for any of the above mentioned warm weather apparel.  I want to help the community by getting coats in the hands of the needy and help people who need to get their nerve system checked.”

Donations can be dropped of directly to Crossroads Chiropractic, 3339 Highway 34 East, Suite C, Sharpsburg, Ga. 30277. For more info contact them at 770-252-1848. We would like to complete the collection by November 22nd to allow us time to sort and repack the items.
