Virginia Ann Pritchett Jackson, Winston, died Oct. 27, 2008. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Carrie Vaughan Pritchett of Moreland, and her husband, James B. Jackson.

Services were at New Emmanuel Baptist Church, Atlanta, with the Rev. Parnell Mosley officiating. Interment was at the Lincoln Memorial Cemetery.

Survivors include a brother, Junior Pete Pritchett, Newnan; a niece, Deloris Jones, Sharpsburg; daughters, Denise and Solomon Temesgen, Winston, Melinda Dingler, Joy Couch, Douglasville, and Alexander S. and Pamela D. Luten Jr., Savannah; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

McKoon Funeral Home, Newnan, was in charge.
