Reservations due Friday for Christian City’s celebration

Christian City’s Home for Children will celebrate 40 years of service to the community with an anniversary dinner and awards ceremony on Saturday, Feb. 11, from 6-11 p.m. in the Airport Hilton ballroom.

Seating is limited to 500 guests.

The theme of the evening will be “Thanks for the Memories” and guests will go back in time with big band and swing music provided by Sentimental Journey, a 19- piece orchestra. Suggested attire would be costumes from the 1940s era or black tie. Tickets are $125 each, or $1,250 per table of 10, and include complimentary valet parking.

All proceeds benefit Christian City Ministries, a non- profit organization whose mission is to minister to the needs of families with particular emphasis on children, the aged, and the infirm.

For the past 40 years, Christian City has provided efficient, effective and affordable residential, health and social services to people across the state of Georgia.
