In ten days, Fayetteville First United Methodist Church presents its first theatrical production, “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever!” One of the most popular holiday productions of the past 25 years the play is based on a 1972 best seller by Barbara Robinson. FFUMC will host the event for three shows - Thursday Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 15 at 2 and 7 p.m.

Proceeds will benefit the underprivileged children of Fayette County including Fayette Youth Protection Homes, Promise Place and DFACS Foster Children.

“The Best Christmas Pageant Ever!” is about the Bradley’s, a young couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant. They are faced with casting the Herdman kids – probably the most inventively awful kids in history. When the Herdmans collide with the Christmas story head-on, the mayhem and nonstop fun commence. First-time director Len Gough will direct the production.

Tickets are $12 for adults, $7 for those between the ages of 12 and 17 and over 55 and $5 for children under the age of 11.
