The intersection of Raymond Hill Road and Fischer Road in east Coweta County remains closed until Thursday or longer. 

The intersection was scheduled to be closed this past weekend (November 1 & 2) for work associated with the intersection improvement project that is underway.

A gas main rupture caused the work schedule to be altered.

Projections are now that the intersection will remain closed until at least Thursday, November 6.

Fischer Road is fully accessible, but travelers cannot turn onto Raymond Hill Road during this closure. Likewise, travelers on Raymond Hill Road cannot access Fischer Road. Detours are posted and drivers are cautioned to avoid the area if at all possible.

Updates will be posted on the county’s website, www.coweta.ga.us, as they become available.
