Walter G. Rogers Jr., Fayetteville, died Oct. 20 2008. He was a veteran of the United States Navy in World War II and a veteran of the United States Army in the Korean Conflict.

Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Rex Kaney officiating. Interment was at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City.

Survivors include his wife, Lynn Rogers, Fayetteville; a son, Walt and Jolene Rogers, Peachtree City; grandchildren, Chris and Laura Rogers, Senoia, Reah Rogers, Savannah, and Wesley Rogers, Peachtree City; and a great-grandson, Chris Rogers Jr., Senoia.

Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
