It’s time to limit Congress to 2 terms

I make no bones about supporting McCain and Palin and have already voted for them. This is what I view as the best course for the country. If the other party wins this election, I fear for the future.

Now, if he has made any mistake in this campaign John McCain, has in my opinion, taken too much of the high road and not exposed the opposition and their misleading statements. He has if anything been too much of a gentleman in the conduct of this run for office.

The Democratic Party has been blaming President Bush for everything that has gone wrong in the last eight years. Mistakes have been made; there is no denying that, but the Democrats have been in control of both houses for the last six years. There is very little the President can do without the consent of Congress.

The President of the United States is a limited term public office; perhaps it is time for both houses to be limited to two terms also.

A long time ago in my life I had the honor to serve in the military with a group whose motto was in simple English, “Deeds Not Words ” — Opera Non Verba.
