Alive UFO Night set at New Hope South
New Hope Baptist Student Ministry presents “Alive UFO Night” Wednesday, Oct. 29, from 6 - 8:30 p.m. at New Hope South Campus (Hwy. 74, Senoia) for middle and high school students and their friends. Activities will include Cosmic Laser Tag, G-Force Orbit Ride, Rock Wall, Jedi Joust, Rocket Turbo Slide, Cosmic Putt-Putt, Halo & Wii “The Force Unleashed” and a costume contest. Flat Creek plans Harvest Fest
Flat Creek Baptist Church will have its annual Harvest Fest Friday, Oct. 31, from 6-8 p.m. featuring food, games, candy, bluegrass music, cake walk, hayrides and more. An outdoor movie, “Flywheel The Movie,” will be shown at 8:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome to stay. Everything is free. Flat Creek is on Flat Creek Trail between Ga. Hwy. 54 and Tyrone Road.

Liberty Baptist’s Fall Festival is Oct. 31
Liberty Baptist Church will have a free Community Fall Festival Friday, Oct. 31 from 6 - 8:30 p.m. Hotdogs, popcorn, snow cones, cakewalk, hayride, and inflatables will be available. Liberty is at 1077 Ga. Hwy. 314, between Fayetteville and Riverdale. For info, call 770-461-5644.

New Hope will have two fall Festivals
New Hope Baptist Church, both north and south campus, will have Fall Festivals Friday, Oct. 31, from 5 - 8 p.m. for children preschool ages through sixth grade. Only happy costumes will be allowed. Trunk and Treat will be from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Activities will include Rock Wall and Giant Slide, as well as inflatables for all ages, cake walk, clown shows, and food court. All activities are free with nominal cost for food. The North Campus is at 551 New Hope Rd., Fayetteville; the South Campus is at 1563 Ga. Hwy. 74 S., Senoia. North Fayette UMC plans Trunk or Treat
North Fayette United Methodist Church will have Trunk or Treat Friday, Oct. 31, from 6 - 8 p.m. in the church parking lot. The event will feature games, refreshments, outdoor movies, family fun and car trunks filled with goodies. The church is at 847 New Hope Rd., Fayetteville. For more information, call 770-461-2409.

PTC First Baptist to host Hallelujah Night
Peachtree City First Baptist Church will host Hallelujah Night on Friday, Oct. 31 at 6:30 p.m., featuring free games, door prizes, hotdogs, candy, and more candy. St. Gabriel’s carnival is Oct. 31
A free carnival will kick off events at The Catholic Church of St. Gabriel at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31. Hay rides, trick or trunk and a haunted woods will also be offered. Costumes are encouraged. FFUMC to host Christmas Marketplace

Eleventh Hour church plans youth concert
The Eleventh Hour Call Church in Fayetteville will host a free Fresh Fire Youth Concert Saturday, Nov. 1, from 4-7 p.m. The concert will feature the bands of “Edenfield,” “Headliner,” “Ocean is Theory,” “Keep the Pace,” “Red Letters,” “Steady at the Ready,” “If All Stopped Soon,” and “Chris Hawkins.” Hot dogs, cold drinks and desserts will be available for a donation. Inman’s Consecration Service is Nov. 2
Inman United Methodist Church will have its Consecration Service Sunday, Nov. 2, at 10 a.m. The Rev. Clay Jacobs will be the guest preacher. Holiday GriefShare session planned
“GriefShare: Handling Grief Through the Holidays” is a seminar for people facing the holidays after a loved one’s death. This one night event, hosted by Peachtree City United Methodist Church, will be held Thursday, Nov. 6, from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the Robinson Road campus. The seminar features practical suggestions and reassurance through video interviews with counselors, grief experts and other people who have experienced the holidays after their loved one’s death. Those who attend will receive a free book providing additional insights and ideas on holiday survival. RSVP to 770-487-6499.

St. Mary’s will offer ‘instructional’ Mass
Father Daniel J. Fleming, pastor at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Newnan, will offer an “instructional Mass” for the community Wednesday, Nov. 5, at 7 p.m. Fleming will provide verbal explanations of each part of the Mass as it is celebrated.
