Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ivey of Tyrone announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Kelly Danielle Ivey, to Lance Robert Ezell, son of Patricia Ezell and the late Layne Ezell of Laurenceburg, Tenn.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mrs. Gerry B. King and the late G.G. King Jr. of Thomaston, and Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Ivey of Jackson. She is a 2003 graduate of Sandy Creek High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Mississippi where she received her degree in psychology. She is employed by the University of Mississippi and is continuing her graduate studies in environmental toxicology.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Lorraine Mossor of Parkersburg, W.Va., and the late Robert J. Mossor and the late Herschel and Eugenia Ezell. He is a 2001 graduate of Lawrence County High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of Mississippi where he received his degree in psychology. He is employed with the Mississippi Department of Health.

An Oct. 31 wedding is planned on the Betsy Ann Riverboat in Panama City Beach, Fla. After the wedding, the couple will reside in Tupelo, Miss.
