Timothy L. "Tim" Allen, 49, Newnan, died Oct. 8. 2008. He was born Sept. 2, 1959 in LaGrange. He was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Wayne Allen, and a sister, Deborah Allen Haynes.

Services were at the New Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Helton and the Rev. Rhodes Skinner officiating. Interment was at the church cemetery.

Survivors include daughters, Kasey and David Walker, and Kimberly and Trinten Cason; parents, Joe and Evelyn McWaters; brothers, Pete and Lorrie Allen, and Glen and Kacie McWaters; a granddaughter, Paisley Waller; girlfriend, Debbie Craven Haynes; a step-nephew, Josh and Enjoli Cheatham; and a step-great-niece, Kiersten Cheatham.

McKoon Funeral Home, Newnan, was in charge.
