Frances Prestage, 62, Fayetteville, died Oct. 11,2008. She was born June 10, 1946 in Atlanta and grew up in Hapeville. She was graduated from Hapeville High School in 1964. She was a member of Fayetteville Christian Church and taught Sunday School for a number of years. She was retired from Wachovia Bank in 2007 with 20 years of service.

Memorial services were at Fayetteville Christian Church. Survivors include her husband, whom she married in June, 1966, Clyde Prestage; a daughter, Jennifer and Tommy Graves, Fayetteville; grandchildren, Emma Graves and Ashley Graves; and sisters, Teresa and Darrell Newby, Sue and James Akins, and Cheryl and Albie Landwehr. Memorial donations may be made to Fayetteville Christian Church Playground Fund.
