A Sonnet to Europeans

Our President is meeting with Europeans,
Who came to Camp David to get some billions.
Of which most will not be used by plebeians,
But little of it distributed to civilians.

Since discovery that a Trillion was available.
And certainly to the American people saleable,
After breathing most shallow, was inhalable.
And now we can go until more is unavailable.

The obvious fact that inflation will thrash us
due to such exuberance as we have witnessed,
I am afraid our books will never show a plus,
Though our learned counters did their best.

We are capable of solving our own mistakes,
But 3000 year old Europe gives me the shakes.
