Lake Spivey Road Race is a 15K, 5K, 1-mile and Tot-Trot in Lake Spivey, GA at the Clayton County Int'l Park (The Beach). The 15K and 5K runners start at the south gate of the park and head east on Walt Stephens Rd. The 15K course winds through the neighborhoods around Lake Spivey and Lake Jodeco. The 5K runners turn left (north) into the Fox Fire and Lake Spivey Country Club S/D. The 15K and 5K return to the park and the finish line. The 1-mile run/walk is an out and back run on Walt Stephens Road. The Tot-Trot will remain in the park. Both the 15K and the 5K courses are USATF certified. Last year's event attracted over 300 participants.

The age groups for the 15K and 5K are 10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & Over.

The entry fee is $25 to $35.

Directions: From I-75 take Exit 228 onto Hwy 138 West toward Jonesboro. Go 2.5 miles. Turn left into Clayton County International Park (The Beach). Go straight to the parking area at the rear of the park.
