PTC man named to state construction board

Gov. Sonny Perdue announced today that he has chosen a Peachtree City businessman to serve on the state's Construction Industry Licensing Board.

Keith J. Steen, 47, will be a Utility Contractor Representative on the board. He is vice president of construction operations and owner of P.F. Moon and Company, Inc.

Steen has served as president, vice president and on the board of directors for the Georgia Utility Contractors Association. He is an executive board member for the National Utility Contractors Association.

Steen also is a Peachtree City Little League manager and a member of the LSU Alumni Association. He was named the National Utility Contractors Association’s outstanding chapter president in 2004.

Steen earned a bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University. He and his wife, Theresa, have four children.
