Mercy boys and Starr's Mill girls win county cross country titlesThu, 10/16/2008 - 7:34am

Our Lady of Mercy’s boys won the Fayette County Cross Country Championships on Wednesday night at Sandy Creek High School. Starr’s Mill placed second and was followed by McIntosh, Whitewater, Sandy Creek and Fayette County. Matt Lethbridge was the boys overall champion with a time of 16:34.17. The remainder of the top five was McIntosh’s Vince Brown, 2, 16:58.68, Warren Enriquez, 3, Starr’s Mill, 17:10.54, Jacob Heard,4, Fayette County, 17:16.20 and Carl Eifert, 5, McIntosh, 17:20.00. Mercy’s top five runners were: Starr’s Mill’s top five runners were: McIntosh’s top five runners were: Whitewater’s top five runners were: Sandy Creek’s top five runners were: Fayette County’s top five runners were: On the girls side, Starr’s Mill placed first and was followed by Our Lady of Mercy, Whitewater, McIntosh, Sandy Creek and Fayette County. Starr’s Mill’s Jackie Sample was the overall champion for the girls with a time of 19:54.91 and was followed in the top five by Stacey Mangan, 2, Whitewater, 20:47.19, Megan Malasarte, 3, Our Lady of Mercy, 20:55.59, Jenny Sample, 4, Starr’s Mill, 21:01.87 and Andrea Raville, 5, Our Lady of Mercy, 21:23.25 Starr’s Mill’s top five runners were: Our Lady of Mercy’s top five runners were: Whitewater’s top five runners were: McIntosh’s top five runners were: Sandy Creek’s top five runners were: Fayette County’s top five runners were: |
