Dr. and Mrs. David L. Chancey of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Anne Chancey, to Perry Hollingsworth, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Hollingsworth of Arcadia, Fla.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mrs. Gladys Chancey and the late Gene L. Chancey of Milledgeville, and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Gould of Athens, Ga. She is a graduate of Fayette County High School and the University of Georgia, where she earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education, specializing in communications sciences and disorders. She is employed by EBS Healthcare and works as a speech language pathologist in the Hall County school system.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. A.P. Hollingsworth of Arcadia, Fla., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack Adams of Avon Park, Fla. He is a graduate of Desoto County High School and the University of Georgia, where he earned a bachelor of agricultural economics degree. He is employed by Specialty Tag and Label, Inc., of Flowery Branch.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008, at the University of Georgia chapel in Athens. Following a honeymoon to Hawaii, the couple will reside in Gainesville.
