Mr. and Mrs. Bill Baldwin of Columbus announce the engagement of their daughter, CJ Baldwin, to Phil C. Metzger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Metzger of Peachtree City.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Mercer University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Christianity with a minor in biology. She currently is employed by The Medical Center of Columbus as an insurance specialist.

The groom-to-be is a 2002 graduate of McIntosh High School and is studying to be an air traffic controller with the Federal Aviation Administration.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, March 7, 2009, in Fernandina Beach, Fla. Following a honeymoon, the couple will reside in the Fayette County area.
