Eleanor Lynne Downing, 70, Palmetto, died Sept. 26,2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Carl Downing. Memorial services were at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Fayetteville, with Pastor Justin Kollmeyer officiating.

Survivors include a son, Kurtis S. Downing, Palmetto; a daughter, Kristin B. and Jeffery Wilson, Fayetteville, grandchildren, Nicholas R. M. Wilson, Christopher, S. C., and Jillian A. Wilson; a brother, Richard and Janice Harris, Phoenixville, Pa.; a sister, Donna and David Dunn, Newtown Square, Pa.; and a brother-in-law, R. Bruce Downing, Media, Pa.

Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
