Rachel Louise Blackshear
Rachel Louise Blackshear, 74, Riverdale, died Sept. 26, 2006. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Banks Blackshear. She was a member of Riverdale First United Methodist Church, and was a trustee of Pleasant Grove Cemetery. She and her husband founded Blackshear Real Estate Tax Service. She was a charter member of the Gone With The Wind chapter of ABWA, and volunteered at Piedmont Fayette Hospital. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Dr. Lawrence Wilson officiating. Interment was at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Survivors include a son, Rick and Susie Blackshear, Griffin; daughters, Rhonda and Jeff Shultes, Stockbridge, and Ramona and Mike Morgan, Griffin; grandchildren, Jordan and Hope Blackshear, Katie Shultes, and Mattie and Evan Morgan; a brother, Ray and Evelyn Jones, Tyrone; and a sister, June and Joe Baker, Fayetteville. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
