Rich Bowerman, member of the Kiwanis Club of Peachtree City, reads from a book entitled "Hey, Pancakes!" during children's story-time at the Peachtree City Library. The Kiwanis Club has donated funds specifically for the purchase of children's books for the past three years. As a bonus, the children present at the reading were given free tickets to the Kiwanis Pancake Saturday scheduled for Jan. 28 at McIntosh High School. Story-time is held every Tuesday morning for 3 to 5 year olds and every Thursday morning for the under 3 group. Anyone wishing to donate funds to purchase children's books for the library should contact M.T. Allen, Librarian, at 770-631-2520.
