Harvest Jamboree planned at Corinth Baptist
Three J Café and Harvest Jamboree at Corinth Baptist Church on Saturday, Oct. 11 will be a day of fun and entertainment with live music, craft booths, games, prizes and treats. Festivities will be from 3-8:30 p.m. with an outdoor, family movie presentation starting at 8:30 after the festivities.Those attending are asked to bring lawn chairs. Southside Baptist’s Fall Festival is Oct. 11

Comm. Christian celebrates Homecoming
Community Christian Church on Kenwood Road celebrated its homecoming and anniversary of 112 years of church history last month. In 1896, the church was West End Christian. In 1988, it became Community Christian in Fayetteville. Preaching for the event was past member the Rev. Richard Randall. Past and present members shared memories. ‘Pray 4 America’ at Heritage this month
Heritage Christian Church invites the community to come to its campus and “Pray 4 America.” The gazebo by Heritage lake has been transformed into a place of prayer through Nov. 4 and community members are invited to come by during daylight hours and follow a prayer guideline, praying for all 50 states and the upcoming elections. Signs are provided as a guide to the gazebo, as well as a map of the United States with a guide for prayers. Heritage’s campus is at the corner of Redwine Road and Bernhard Road. NHBC plans yard sale, ‘Pumpkin Patch’
National Heights Baptist Church will have a yard sale Saturday, Oct. 18 from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m., with proceeds to benefit the Fayette Samaritans. Pumpkins for the kids and home baked goodies will also be offered. Booth space for individuals and vendors is available. FFBC ladies plan L.A.F.F. Night
The ladies at Fayetteville First Baptist Church will have “L.A.F.F. Night” Friday, Oct. 24, from 7-10 p.m. in the fellowship hall. The event of the night will be “Let’s Make a Deal” and those attending are asked to wear a costume, pack their purses, bring a snack and bring a friend. Woolsey’s Fall Festival is Oct. 31
Woolsey Baptist Church’s Annual Fall Festival will be Friday night, Oct. 31, from 6:30 - 9 p.m. Activities will include inflatables, trunk or treat, cake walk, games, face painting and a hay ride, in addition to popcorn and candy.
