Call Off The Dogs

Lots of complaining only for a year
Then suddenly in 2008, dogs were loose,
No houses were selling, no loans appear,
The funniest thing on TV was Sarah's moose.

The feds started selling U.S. debt galore
Which I am sure will make our taxes soar.
Surely voters will send someone out the door
Hopefully their rears will have a new contour.

As to "greed is good," people on Wall Street,
If punishment is not rendered hard and fast,
Such that in the future others won't cheat,
Then we are doomed by not learning by a past.

Call off the dogs, leave us alone
Punish those dudes, give them no bone.
