If you commit six turnovers in a game, things likely aren’t going your way and it will be hard to overcome them for a victory. Still, despite two interceptions and four fumbles, Landmark Christian School came close to stealing a victory from the jaws of defeat.

Landmark compiled 117 yards rushing and 219 yards passing, but generated only one offensive touchdown, a run by Andrew Glaize who finished with 24 yards on the night. Quarterback Tanner Bryant threw for 219 yards, with Blake Wyatt finishing with 143 yards receiving.

Ryan Thames connected on a 23 yard field goal in the loss.

Defensively, Cody Crook recovered a fumble in the endzone for a touchdown, while Glaize and Austin Broussard each had 12 total tackles. Wyatt had six tackles and an interception.

Landmark Christian will host Holy Innocents on Friday.
