A political forum will be held on Sunday, October 19th from 2-4 p.m. at The Gathering Place in Peachtree City sponsored by the Peachtree City Senior Adult Council. 

Candidates invited to attend are:  Ronnie Chance (R) (I) and Jerry Brilliant (D) vying for District 16 State Senate. Sheila S. Huddleston and Robert (Bob) Ruppenthal (I) are seeking the nonpartisan position for Judge of Magistrate Court, Post 3. Judge of Magistrate Court, Post 4 candidates for the nonpartisan race are Jason B. Thompson and James A. White (I). 

Representatives from the Fayette County Board of Education will present a 30 minute power point presentation on the countywide Special Election for the Fayette County Educational SPLOST.

Peachtree City residents will also be voting on General Obligation Recreational Facilities Bonds.  A representative from the Peachtree City Recreation Department will be on hand to answer questions.

All Fayette County residennts are invited to attend. The Gathering Place is located at 203 McIntosh Trail in Peachtree City.

Attendees will be able to talk to the candidates after the forum. Refreshments will be served.
