Carriage Lane Presbyterian’s Bible Conference set for October 4 & 5Tue, 09/23/2008 - 2:29pm

Carriage Lane Presbyterian Church will host its annual Bible Conference Oct. 4 and 5, with Dr. Bryan Chapell speaking on the theme “Holiness by Grace.” Chapell is president of Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Mo. Additionally, he preaches and teaches in churches and schools throughout the world and is a prolific author. Session one of the conference will be held Saturday, Oct. 4 from 5 – 6 p.m. in the sanctuary. Dinner will be provided in the fellowship hall at 6 p.m. and session two will follow from 7 – 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 5, Chapell will speak from 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. and then will preach at the 11 a.m. worship service. Registration fee for the conference is $10 per person or $20 per family (two or more persons). Dinner on Saturday is included. Nursery care will be provided on Saturday evening for infants and pre-school children. Supervised activities will be provided for children ages six to ten. The number and ages of children attending should be registered in order to ensure adequate staffing.
