Starr's Mill teams win varsity division of Sandy Creek Fall Classic

Starr’s Mill’s boys and girls won the varsity division of the Sandy Creek Fall Classic this past weekend.
The top five runners for the boys were:
• Warren Enriquez, 1, 17:34.42
• Kevin Killory, 3, 17:46.45
• Chris Walsh, 12, 18:30.25
• Timmy Keller, 13, 18:32.38
• Daniel Hix, 14, 18:37.60

The top five runners for the girls were:
• Jackie Sample, 1, 19:47.05
• Jenny Sample, 6, 21:28.35
• Molly Musselwhite, 10, 21:56.39
• Emma Robbins, 14, 22:15. 73
• Sarah Epling, 17, 22:32.83

Sandy Creek’s boys placed seventh in the varsity division. Their top five runners were:
• Jonathan Owens, 5, 18:00.59
• Blair Taylor, 32, 19:28.38
• Jeremy Leblanc, 61, 20:11.83
• Daniel Leblanc, 70, 20:36.36
• Ben Williams, 74, 20:48.50

Sandy Creek’s girls placed eighth in the meet. Their top five runners were:
• Ivori Sneed, 21, 22:45.20
• Shelby Bolling, 24, 22:59.61
• Kiana Courtney, 47, 24:05.98
• Erin Dunphy, 52, 24:40.21
• Kate Welch, 76, 25:38.14

Landmark Christian’s girls placed fifth in the varsity division. Their top five runners were:
• Lana Hojeij, 18, 22:35.52
• Kenzie Thrasher, 23, 22:56.08
• Kensi Deel, 25, 23:00.55
• Kathleen Duncan, 36, 23:42.17
• Hannah Gravitt, 42, 23:57.13

Landmark Christian’s boys competed in the varsity division but did not field enough runners to qualify in the final standings. Their top runners were:
• Mehamed Gomez, 4, 17:55.52
• Ryan Thames, 23, 19:08.97
• Nick Harris, 33, 19:29.22

McIntosh’s boys placed second in the championship division of the Sandy Creek Fall Classic on Saturday, while Fayette County placed sixth.
The top five runners for the Chiefs were:
• Vince Brown, 2, 16:57.37
• Carl Eifert, 5, 17:17.73
• Nathan Reeves, 14, 18:13.57
• John Janigan, 16, 18:18.13
• Alan Kim, 24, 19:03.77

The top five runners for the Tigers were:
• Jacob Heard, 6, 17:18.04
• Brett Gaglione, 38, 20:06.36
• Austin Vorwald, 42, 20:17.86
• Wesley Satterwhite, 44, 20:29.05
• Jared Massie, 47, 20:57.43

On the girls side of the championship division, McIntosh placed fourth and Fayette County placed sixth.

Whitewater’s boys placed 15th in the Battle of Atlanta.
