Miriam H. Fulton, Peachtree City, died Sept. 14, 2008. She was born in 1922 in Savannah. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, James W. Fulton Jr., in July, 2007. They moved to Peachtree City in 1961 and she was the first real estate agent in Peachtree City. She was instrumental in the sale of most of the first lots and homes in the city and in 1971 opened Miriam Fulton Realty Company, which later became Coldwell Banker Fulton Realty Associates. She was an organizing member of the Fayette County Board of Realtors and later served as its president. She was the Fayette County "Realtor of the Year" in 1974. She was a charter member and a devoted worker of the First Baptist Church of Peachtree City, and served on the board of trustees of the Georgia Baptist Children's Home for many years. Services are today, Wednesday Sept. 17, at the First Baptist Church of Peachtree City at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include sons, Jim and Elaine Fulton, Fayetteville, Frank and Lillian Fulton, and Tom and Patti Fulton, all of Peachtree City; grandchildren, Adam and Jessica Fulton, Mike and Minka Fulton, Joe Fulton, Beth Fulton, Beau Fulton, Anna Fulton, and Keenan Allen; great-grandchildren, Alex, Olivia and Lauren Fulton; and a sister, Celie Sutton, Savannah. Memorial donations may be made to the Georgia Baptist Children's Home, 505 Waterworks Rd., Palmetto, GA 30268. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, is in charge.
