James Albert Ray, 84, Tyrone, died Sept. 1, 2008. He was a retiree of the United States Army and the Federal Reserve Bank. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tyrone. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Survivors include his wife, Liselotte Ray, Tyrone; sons, Henry Herman Ray, Stockbridge, and Edward Ray, Prattville, Ala.; daughters, Wanda Elizabeth Phillips, Fayetteville, and Heidi Jones, Covington; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
