McIntosh experienced a first this season Friday night — a 34-14 loss to Lithia Springs that dropped them under .500 for the first time this young season.

Quarterback Kelton Hill was a difference-maker for Lithia Springs; he hurt McIntosh with both his arm, completing 13 of 23 passes for 210 yards and two touchdowns, and his legs, running for another score.

Hill directed a Lions offense that piled up 379 yards of total offense.

Hill’s 1-yard touchdown run and 32-yard touchdown pass to Kevin Steed handed the Lions a 14-0 lead in the first quarter.

McIntosh quarterback Cam Porter scored on a 12-yard run later in the quarter to make it 14-7.

Lithia Springs tacked on another touchdown before halftime.

Porter was picked off on the first play of the fourth quarter, handing the ball back to Hill, who connected with Steed on a 40-yard touchdown pass to increase the Lions’ lead to 28-7.

Brennan Morgan hit Matt Fergus with a 9-yard touchdown pass with six minutes left in the fourth quarter for McIntosh’s final touchdown of the night.

McIntosh’s offense racked up 254 total yards, including 154 rushing, but it couldn’t find the end zone enough to keep up with Hill and the rest of the Lions offense.

Darius Miliam led McIntosh’s rushing attack with 107 yards on nine carries.

Linebacker Andrew Graham (nine total tackles, one fumble recovery) and defensive end Taylor Peaden (eight total tackles) stood out on McIntosh’s defense.
