Starr's Mill girls run to top finish at Carrollton Invitational

In the Class AAAA division of the Carrollton Invitational, Starr’s Mill’s girls placed first, while McIntosh placed fourth and Sandy Creek placed eighth.

The top five runners for Starr’s Mill were:
• Jackie Sample, 1, 19:53.90
• Jenny Sample, 5, 21:39.14
• Molly Musselwhite, 6, 21:58.45
• Emma Robins, 9, 22:02.89
• Sarah Lewis, 14, 22:36.98

The top five runners for the Lady Chiefs were:
• Devon Fisher, 7, 21:59.36
• Emily Kim, 15, 22:48.58
• Courtney Barker, 25, 23:27.84
• Ally Montemurro, 27, 23:32.01
• Olivia Brasch, 29, 23:39.10

Sandy Creek’s top five were:
• Ivori Sneed, 23, 23:22.03
• Shelbi Bolling, 37, 24:16.28
• Erin Dunphy, 52, 25:33.20
• Kaitlyn Welch, 62, 26:21.26
• Molly Montgomery, 82, 30:57.23

On the boys side, Starr’s Mill placed third, followed by McIntosh in fourth place and Sandy Creek in ninth.

The top five runners for the Panthers were:
• Warren Enriquez, 5, 17:27.96
• Kevin Killory, 14, 18:21.94
• Daniel Hix, 17, 18:39.22
• Chris Walsh, 19, 18:47.70
• Timmy Keller, 23, 19:07.68

McIntosh’s top five runners were:
• Vince Brown, 2, 17:01.10
• Carl Eifert, 6, 17:31.86
• John Janigan, 16, 18:37.22
• Gabe Zaubi, 27, 19:11.52
• Alan Kim, 31, 19:23.08

Sandy Creek’s top five runners were:
• Jonathan Owens, 18, 18:43.46
• Blar Taylor, 45, 19:43.88
• Galen Coles, 55, 10:10.72
• Jeremy Leblanc, 59, 20:15.78
• David Mathis, 86, 21:49.21

Landmark Christian’s girls placed fifth in the Class A-AAA division of the Carrollton Invitational. The top five runners for the Lady War Eagles were:
• Lana Hojeij, 13, 23:14.99
• Kenzie Thrasher, 23:27.44
• Kaley Cusamano, 28, 24:20.15
• Kensi Deel, 40, 24:49.20
• Hannah Gravitt, 56, 25:37.94

Landmark Christian’s boys didn’t have enough runners to place in the Class A-AAA division of the Carrollton Invitational but their top runners were:
• Mehamed Gomez, 12, 18:05.34
• Ryan Thames, 58, 19:56.97
• John Long, 78, 20:22.63
• Nick Harris, 92, 20:40.97

In the Marist Double Dip Invitational, Our Lady of Mercy’s boys placed sixth overall and Whitewater placed 13th.

The top five runners for the Bobcats were:
• Matt Lethbridge, 11, 17:55
• Justin Yakubesan, 28, 18:23
• Jonathan Bridier, 32, 18:33
• Jake Lethbridge, 39, 18:45
• Matt Fitzgerald, 46, 18:56

Whitewater’s top five were:
• John Grafmiller, 29, 18:27

• Sean Plunkett, 58, 19:19
• Anthony Morrissey, 64, 19:34
• Brian Eidson, 101, 20:59

On the girls side, Our Lady of Mercy placed eighth and Whitewater placed ninth.
