R. H. Neely, Newnan, died Aug. 28, 2008. He was born Nov. 13, 1913 in Newnan. He was preceded in death by his parents, the Rev. and Mrs. Richmond and Rachel Neely, ten siblings, his wife, Mary Gibson Neely, and a stepson, Harold Gibson. At an early age he joined St. Peter Baptist Church where he served as a deacon until his health failed. He had worked at Royal Molding for many years until he retired.

Services were at St. Peter Baptist Church with interment at Eastview Cemetery. Survivors include a grandson, Gregory Gibson; a niece, Nellie Elder; an ex-daughter-in-law, Geneva Gibson; sisters-in-law, Rachel Neely and Nettie Gibson; nieces, Dianne Leigh, Gail Warner, Teresa Strozier, Tequeila and Shaun Reid, Shaquita Strozier, and special friend, Jarvis Warner.

Roscoe Jenkins Funeral Home, Newnan, was in charge.
