Carousel of Dance Arts, located at 155 Bradford Square Suite E in Fayetteville, has announced a new program for kids fitness, “Stretch Out & Chill Out.” The program is designed to increase flexibility and to promote all-around health and well-being, and is for all ages and abilities.

The classes are composed of a warm-up, action, winding down, and relaxation. Some classes will also incorporate storytelling, music and games. Children will learn to discipline themselves in areas of balance, strength and concentration while, at the same time, having fun.

The atmosphere is one of nurturing and confidence-building and inspires respect for self and others.

The classes are divided into two age groups: Dragonfly Kids (ages 5-7) and Cosmic Kids (ages 8-12). Later, Carousel of Dance Arts will add a class for Little Grasshoppers (ages 3-4).

The program is a certified program and is taught by Faye Livingston, who was certified this summer in San Francisco, Calif.
