Fred Henry Adamson, 57, Sharpsburg, died Aug. 30, 2008. He was born March 9, 1961 to the late W. C. and Lucile Banks Adamson. He was a 1970 graduate of East Coweta High School and a lifelong resident of Sharpsburg. He enjoyed cooking, growing flowers, and entertaining friends at the "Old House" home place. Two of his favorite events were the dove season opening breakfast and the Halloween hayride party.

Memorial services were at the McKoon Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Griff Jones officiating. Survivors include an aunt, Mary Spradlin; siblings, Charles and Cheryl, Bob and Nancy, Dean, and Jim and Vanette; and nieces and nephews.
