In honor of the “Year of the Dog,” the Peachtree City Dog Park Association will host a Chinese New Year celebration Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at the dog park.

The park will distribute fortune cookie treats and hold a doggie fashion show with prizes. The contest entry fee is $20 per dog, payable by cash or check at the event, with proceeds going to park maintenance and improvements.

Admission to the event is free.

The dog park is located behind the BMX track in the McIntosh Recreation Area off Kelly Drive and McIntosh Trail. For more information, visit www.ptcdogpark.com.
