The 10th Annual Quick-Turner Reunion is set for Sept. 6. It will take place at the Family Life Center, New Salem Baptist Church, 113 New Salem Road, Griffin. The time is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

You are encouraged to bring a covered dish and family memorabilia to share.

After arriving from South Carolina the following lines remained in the Fayette, Spalding, Pike, Meriwether and Coweta County areas.

These family names include Eli and Drucilla Turner Quick, and the names of Stubbs, Middlebrooks, Tapley, Newton, and Thomas.

If you descend from these folks you are cordially invited to be on hand and become acquainted with other family members you may not have known about.
