Evangelist Tim Todd, the president of Revival Fires International (www.revivalfires.org) headquartered in West Monroe, La., will conduct revival services at Fayette Family Church Sunday, Sept. 7, at the 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. services. Todd has conducted evangelistic crusades across America and around the world in such places as Africa, Russia, Latvia, India, Haiti, Old Mexico, Bahamas and the Middle East. Todd has distributed more than one million copies of the popular Truth for Youth Bible to teenagers who agree to give them to their friends in school. He is the publisher/designer of the Truth for Youth that consists of the entire New Testament combined with 100 pages of full color comics. The Truth for Youth has been endorsed by many prominent Christian leaders and will be given to every teenager attending the revival services at Fayette Family Church. Distribution of the Truth for Youth meshes with Todd’s national efforts to restore religious freedoms in public school. One of those efforts included calling on the U.S. Congress to restore voluntary prayer and Bible reading back to America’s public schools. He has distributed more than 2.5 million Bibles to Russian public school students since September of 1991, has distributed more than 2 million Bibles to Russian Red Army Soldiers since August of 1992, has provided more than 140,000 Bibles for U.S. troops serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, and delivered one million prayer petitions to the U.S. Supreme Court Justices calling on them to reverse their decision on abortion. Revival Fires International built the Mercy Hospital and Nurses TrainingCenter in Trivandrum, India. The hospital was established 30 years ago and helps more than 200 people every day. Todd grew up in the ministry of his father, Dr. Cecil Todd, and at the age of 18 he won the “World Champion Preacher Boy Contest” sponsored by the Kiamichi Clinic in southeast Oklahoma.
