Robert James and Kathy Ann Beasley McGrath of Fayetteville announce the marriage of their daughter, Megan Blair McGrath, to Christopher Scott Teeple, son of James Robert and Gloria Wright Teeple of Navarre, Fla.

The wedding was Aug. 8, 2008, in Pensacola Beach, Fla.

The bride is the granddaughter of Robert and Alieze McGrath, Greta Monfee and Jesse L. Beasley, and the great-granddaughter of Ann Davis. She is a 2001 graduate of Fayette County High School and a graduate of Auburn University in Auburn, Ala., where she received her bachelor of arts in political science, magna cum laude, and her master’s in public administration. She was a member of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority. She is completing her third year of law school at Mercer University in Macon.

The groom is the grandson of Faye Teeple and the late Robert James Teeple and the late Charles Frank and Inez Wright. He served in the United States Air Force as a TAC-P and is now a sergeant with the Macon Police Department and serves on the SWAT team.
