The Rev. David Black, 69, Fayetteville, died Aug. 21, 2008. He was born Aug. 16, 1939 in Cairo, W. Va. He had served the Jackson and Fellowship Presbyterian Church, Jackson, Ga., and the Fayette Presbyterian Church, from which he retired in 1999. Private graveside services were at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City with the Rev. Skip Wisenbaker officiating. Memorial services were held at the Fayette Presbyterian Church with the Rev. John Westlund and the Rev. John Skelly officiating. Survivors include his wife, Lynn Black, Fayetteville; daughters, Dawna and Bruce Daniel, Avondale Estates, and Susanna Black, New York; and a granddaughter, Zoe Daniel. Memorial donations may be made to the Fayette Presbyterian Church, or the Jesus Film Project. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge. login to post comments |
