Rachel Elizabeth Harris and Ben David Ragan were married Saturday, June 21, 2008, at Peachtree Christian Church in Atlanta. The Rev. Tom Harris conducted the double ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of David and Leigh Ann Harris of Fayetteville. She is the granddaughter of Joyce and Hollis Harris of Peachtree City and Betty and Ted Mayfield of Fayetteville. She is the great granddaughter of Margaret Entrekin of Lakeland, Fla. She is employed as a human capital management consulting associate with Buck Consultants in Atlanta. The groom is the son of Gina and Kim Ragan of Fayetteville and the grandson of Joanne and Bill Ragan of Kahoka, Mo., and Nina and Franklin Winters of Wayland, Mo. He is employed as an industrial engineer with Armstrong World Industries in Macon. The bride, escorted by her father, wore her mother’s wedding dress, a candlelight silk and satin gown featuring a scalloped portrait neckline of French Alencon lace and pearls with a chapel train. She carried a bouquet of white roses, calla lilies, hydrangea, freesia and stephanotis. Kelley Davis, of Birmingham, Ala., served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Hilary Buchanan of Birmingham; Colleen Clemons of Louisville, Ky.; Lisa Giordano of Charlotte, N.C.; Rachel Heflin of Atlanta; Becky Hudson of Atlanta; Anna Mohylsky of Naples, Fla.; Lyndsay Pelfrey of Birmingham; and sisters of the groom, Bailey Ragan of Fayetteville; Brady Ragan of Hilton Head Island, S.C.; and Briana Ragan of Fayetteville. Kim Ragan served as his son’s best man. Groomsmen were Danny Byerly of Atlanta; Giancarlo Calva of Houston, Texas; Jason Erickson of New Orleans, La.; Tim Fevella of Peachtree City; Michael Harris, brother of the bride, of Fayetteville; Matt Lawson of Peachtree City; Chad Newton of Peachtree City; and Clif Wilson of Houston, Texas. A reception, featuring dinner and dancing, was held in the Grand Salon and the Egyptian Ballroom at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta.
