The children of David and Virginia Smith announce their parents’ 65th wedding anniversary. They were married Aug. 26, 1943, in Atlanta.

Mr. and Mrs. Smith lived in Cascade Heights in Atlanta until Mr. Smith retired from Lockheed Aircraft Corporation and Mrs. Smith retired from the City of Atlanta Public schools. They have made Peachtree City their home since 1988.

The Smiths have three children, Eileen Iafolla, Lynn Jackson and David Smith, eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

The Smiths are active in church as volunteers for Meals on Wheels, and enjoy playing Bridge and spending time with family and friends.
