Mary Winn Walton, 86, Peachtree City, died July 28, 2008. She was born July 26, 1922 in Towns, Ga. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ruby McGahee Winn, and her husband, Dean Harold Walton. She was a graduate of Girls High School and the Marsh Business School in Atlanta. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church, Peachtree City. Services were at the Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Dr. David Miller officiating. Survivors include her son, David and Kim Walton, Dacula; grandsons, Matt Walton, Dacula, and William Hubbs, Peachtree City; a sister, Martha Darden, Port Arthur, Texas; a daughter-in-law, Violet Walton, Goodyear, Ariz.; and five nieces and nephews. Memorial donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church Building Fund, 206 Willowbend Rd., Peachtree City, GA 30269. Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
