Dr. Brian and Celeste Fitzpatrick of Colorado Springs, Colo. announce the engagement of their daughter, Shannon Leigh Fitzpatrick, to 2nd Lt. Tyler Allen Schultz, son of Chris and Sue Schultz of Peachtree City.

The bride-to-be, a 2004 graduate of Cheyenne Mountain High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, is an executive team leader for Target Corporation.

The groom-elect, a 2003 graduate of McIntosh High School and a 2007 graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, currently is in pilot training at Columbus Air Force Base in Mississippi.

The couple will wed May 23, 2009, at the U.S. Air Force Academy.
