Local music teachers Annette Day, Mary Jane Server and Jessica Ledford recently met to plan upcoming monthly activities for  Coweta-Fayette Music Teachers Association. The association is currently seeking new members for 2008-2009. The group meets monthly for teacher-education lectures, student activities and fellowship. Coweta-Fayette MTA is a local division of Music Teachers National Association, which will hold their national convention in Atlanta in the spring of 2009. This is a four day annual event local teachers do not want to miss. In addition, the state chapter will hold its annual conference at the University of Georgia November 6-8, 2008.
