The Peachtree City Library has announced it will be launching a new series of programs to promote family literacy called Family Night. Family Night will be held on Thursday nights at 7 p.m. and will feature a unique theme each week lasting approximately 30-40 minutes. Programs are designed so that parents who work during the day can spend quality time with their children in the library setting. Registration is not required for Family Night.

The first Family Night will be held on Thursday, August 21 at 7 p.m. and will feature the Clowns with New Hope, a troupe of clowns from New Hope Baptist Church who perform and make balloon animals. Refreshments will be provided.

The following week, on Thursday, August 28, at 7 p.m., the Tooth Fairy Magician from Dentistry for Children will be teaching proper eating habits and interesting facts about teeth. Children will come away entertained and more knowledgeable about their dental health. Toothbrushes will be provided.
